i used to think i was a pretty down to earth guy... i could do with a moderate vehicle to run around in. of course we would always have our attainable future car. but honestly, who am i trying to kid?? why do these things cost so much?? *sigh*

so this guy offers me a spot in the "calc exam" pool. ie. person with highest mark on the calc exam gets two dollars from everyone else int he pool. now he offers me the spot, then reconsiders.. then i really want in on this dealy, basically cuz if i have this money/face at stake it i'll work harder. so i desperately try to buy in, offering three dollar if i lose. they decide that there needs to be a 10 point spread! ridiculous. that means that if i get 100 someone with 93 would win (in case you dunno how the point system works). so i managed to make the deal a 5-point spread, however if i get perfect i = teh winnar! so i have to work ultra hard now on the calc exam. i got an interview for the medical biology mentorship which is on tuesday. let me remind you that of the 300 applicants to the mentorship program, 115 listed medical biology as their first choice. i'm lucky to get an interview. today was a fairly decent day. went shopping at club monaco (40% off) and buffalo (50% off). bought a shit and scarf at club moncaco, which would have normally cost $119 +tax actually cost me $60 and some odd cents after the numerous discounts. didn't buy anything at buffalo though.. and kinda sleepy now.. nites

so it was penitential service today at school, and i went to confession... first time in a couple of years. well i was in there for a good half hour.. and it felt quite nice afterward.. great way to start off the christmas season. so i think i'll catch an early nite tonite.. and maybe read a bit.
