damnit i wrote a lot and it all got cleaned... boo. well it was just more stuff about war and how sadam should have surrendered to protect his people. what does iraq need an army for? or nerve gas for that matter? i'm sure they could swing something like they give up all their weapons for protection from US. anyway apparently the iraqi's are burning some oil wells... oh well... and i got a leather jacket today from danier and their awesome sale. pray for all the people on the frontlines and for a speedy resolution.

so i decided to write about the war. okay for those of you who know nothing of current events, a quater million US and coalition troops are in the middle east poised to attack iraq as we speak. that's about all the facts i'm gonna lay down. these are a list of things i've considered and feel are quite true.
pro's for war
- iraq is eventually gonna have a nuke or two, just give them time
- the got some serious biological weapons
- they've had a lot of time to disarm and they haven't (remind anyone of versailles?)
- UN inspectors haven't done a good enough job, and have faced lots of interference from iraq

con's for war
- the US has no solid proof of nuclear weapons, only speculation
- a lot of people say this is about oil... although i think its rather ignorant to just say its about that and nothing else
- a lot of people in iraq support sadam in spite of what you think. sure he kills a bunch, but the ones he doesn't kill love him!

so i think the US is a little rushed in this war, and not all their intentions are the best. but i sure dont know enough about this to really give that great of an opinion. and why a lot of countries are opposed ... their reasons are sometimes controversial themselves (i dunno i was reading somewhere something about debts). i really think this was gonna happen sooner or later, sadam would never have stopped trying to get a bomb. why he wont relinquish power is beyond me. my math teacher says that it must be something to have all that power, it just consumes you. but if i was as wealthy as sadam, i could just leave and live a quiet life, it would be easy for him to hide out somewhere (nkorea probably, i hear cuba's nice). well i think the US military will just stomp over iraq, they outclass them anyday with the american's war budget. i like how bush told the iraqis not to burn down their oil wells.. i think the best case would be for them to go in and find some weapons so they can say, look! they were doing something. and not look like idiots. i think canada should have at least sent in a token army, to support the US and Britain, they are our strongest allies, but to send nothing and tell them they are on their own isn't cool, it'll hurt interantional relations. but to go to war just for the sake of keeping friends isn't good, but there is more at stake that just that. so i'll leave it here at this and hopefully this war will be quick with minimal casualties on both sides (come on, its at least worth a hope).

i went to mentorship today and they didn't have anything for me to do so i left at 2 and went shopping. bought these pants at mexx which were on sale from like 99 or 49? i had trouble getting the right size, couldnt' decide between 28 or 30, 28 is okay, but a little snug in a semi uncomforatble way, 30 were a little loose, so i tried both pairs on twice at least, i think the sales girl was getting annoyed, she told me she like the 28 better, so i decided on that =P but then i shop around a little more and stuff and decided to change for the 30. lol. so that's my shopping experience. note to self: dont go shopping alone ever again. btw i need a suit. i haven't decided a style or whatnot, i might just go with a typical black normal cut whatever. mexx also has a sale on that too. but what shirt and what tie? i dunno yet.. heh, i saw a grey suit with a black shirt and silver tie that looked nice, but i dont really want a grey suit. i also want to cut my hair some more, i might just go grab a pair of scissors and pull a tse ting fung. too bad i have no modena huh? mmmkay i'm gonna grab a drink...bbl.

okay i think i'm over the whole talon thing, they are over priced, unreliable and crap. for the ones that are in reasonable condition i can get a simlar condition a4. i've always been a sucker for european interiors. and an a4 so pwns anything domestic. damn you america. a nice '96 a4 quattro v6 is much better than the crappy tsi awd. of course there is still the option of some imports *cough*rice*cough*. that could suit me. i dont need a flashy car, rice rocket could do me fine. come on i think we all saw that coming. oh yea i got my mouse so the computer is now 2035... only places to cut costs is on .. certain stuff... hopefully computer prices will drop in the near futures, i still need to find a nice case and such. still deciding whether i'll just get one of those boxes at pacific with precut window and such. but i'd still want to paint it, i want a black box. lol buy some uv lights and tint for the water. whatever i need to clean now.. ttyl
